As a new Pharmacy Owner, Pharmacy X has been a great blessing for me. It helped me get off the hamster wheel and build my clinical services including many private services. In this day and age of increasing costs and reducing NHS income, Pharmacy X has been crucial in keeping our little pharmacy's lights on. The workflow provides incredible certainty in delivering great customer care while allowing me to have a thorough supervision on the daily operations. Before Pharmacy X, we had to look through heaps of paper to find the patient's prescription and manage the stock manually. This used to make us look like headless chicken to the patient. Now we can confidently give reliable information in seconds to the patient at the counter. This instills public confidence in the pharmacy and the profession. Pharmacy X was also instrumental in driving our stock down. In fact, the expired dispensary medications have almost halved in the first six months. Parking around our pharmacy is difficult. The text messaging service was a game changer and is provided as a standard in the price too. Our patients love this feature as they can plan their trip to the pharmacy without having to worry about the parking fines. We also have few patients who prefer a certain brand of medication. The functionality of Pharmacy X allows us to be able to achieve such stock management seamlessly. As a web-based PMR system, Pharmacy X can be installed on as many computers as needed. This helped us streamline our processes by adding an additional 6 computers in the pharmacy. Unlike many other PMRs asking us to pay extra for various functionalities like automated clinical checks or electronic CD register, Pharmacy X offers a great certainty of pricing and peace of mind. The helpdesk is very responsive too and nothing is too much trouble for them. They also actively listen to any concerns or improvement requests from us. It is a joy to see the PMR still evolving and adding new features every month. The recent telephone report of the Over 65 patients helped us fully book our Flu vaccinations dairy. Almost 80% of the dispensing stock is accuracy checked by Pharmacy X using the FMD/barcodes. This saves the pharmacist a chunk of time while reducing dispensing errors. All in all, Pharmacy X helped us retain the margin on the stock while simultaneously drive our clinical and private services exponentially.
